Questions?

  • When's the wedding?
The wedding ceremony will be held on Saturday, October 25, 2025 in the afternoon.
  • Do we need to RSVP?
Yes! Go to our RSVP page and let us know if you're coming or not, if you're staying with us, and if you have any food allergies.
  • Where will the wedding be?
The wedding ceremony will be held at a small boutique hotel in Tulum, Mexico named Zorba Tulum. Visit zorbatulum.com for more info.
  • Where can we stay?
Our closest friends & family are staying with us at the boutique hotel, Zorba. If you didn't get a chance to reserve your spot, just find a spot in Tulum. There are tons of hotels and Airbnbs to choose from.
  • Do you have a wedding registry?
No, your presence is the best gift! If you’d still like to give, it would be rude for us to say no! We’d love a contribution to our honeymoon fund instead. You can Zelle to hello@juanandrose.com, CashApp to $juanandrose, or Venmo to juanandrose.
  • How do I pay to stay with you at Zorba?
You can send us the $550 per person via Zelle to hello@juanandrose.com, CashApp to $juanandrose, or Venmo to juanandrose.
  • When's check-in and checkout at Zorba?
Check in at Zorba is Thursday, October 23, 2025 after 3 PM. Checkout is the following Monday, October 27, 2025 by 10 AM. If you're flying in to Mexico that Thursday, book an early morning flight so you have plenty of time to get to the hotel. If you're flying home on checkout day, schedule an evening flight so you have plenty of time to get to the airport after checking out.
  • What if I don't stay at Zorba?
That's fine! There are tons of hotels and Airbnbs to choose from. Even if you're not staying at Zorba, you're welcome to come hang out with us at Zorba during the day from 3 PM on Thursday, October 23rd until 10 AM on Monday, October 27.
  • Is Zorba an all-inclusive hotel?
No, Zorba is not an all-inclusive hotel. It's a boutique hotel with five separate houses. Each house is like an Airbnb and sleeps about 10 people. Visit www.zorbatulum.com for more info.
  • What's the schedule of events look like?
Join us for a small, informal welcome dinner on Thursday, October 23rd at Zorba at 6 PM. Our rehearsal will be in the afternoon on Friday, October 24th. The wedding ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception dinner & party will be on Saturday, October 25th. Sunday, October 26th is a day of relaxation for everyone. Monday, October 27th is checkout day.
  • What's the dress code for the wedding?
The dress code for the wedding is beach chic. It's casual but a little classy. Lots of professional photos and video will be taken. Look your best but be comfortable. Please don't wear denim, cut-offs, shorts, jeans, t-shirts, tank tops, or bathing suits. Sandals and flip flops are okay, but no Crocs please.
  • Is there a group discount for flights?
No, we do not have a group discount set up for flights. Just get your flights on your own, fly into Cancun or Tulum, and we'll see you in Tulum!
  • Do I need a visa to travel to Mexico?
No, you don't need a visa to travel to Mexico from the US. You will need a passport and you might need to fill out a "Forma Migratoria Múltiple" form.
  • Do I need a passport to fly to Mexico?
Yes! You need a passport to fly to Mexico. If you have one already, please make sure it isn't expired or doesn't expire before October. If you need one, go to travel.state.gov. Give yourself plenty of time to apply and get your passport in the mail. It can take a while.
  • Which airport should I fly into?
The wedding will be in Tulum, Mexico. The most popular option is the Cancun International Airport (CUN) in Cancun, Mexico. The second best option is the new Tulum International Airport (TQO) in Tulum, Mexico. The Cancun airport is farther away from Tulum, but is more established with more transportation options. We're flying into Cancun and probably taking the Tren Maya train to Tulum.
  • How do I get to the hotel from the airport?
There are several ways to get to the hotel from the airport including renting a car, taking a bus, and so on. We don't recommend renting a car because there's no parking at Zorba. We're working on making arrangements with Zorba to provide a shuttle for everyone, but logistics are tough. Check back soon for updates.
  • What will the weather be like in Mexico in October?
The weather is hot and humid and the sun is intense. Bring light clothes, bathing suits, hats, sunglasses, and sunblock.
